I am finally done with cable . I did some research on smart tv and antenna to stream local news and NBC ,ABC , and so on . I literally have a guide to look for channels I was unsure of the outcome . And when I installed this HDTV antenna it was the best feeling for me when that picture came up with my local channel and beyond I felt like I hit the lottery. The reception is better than any cable channel I had on my cable provider service. Because the clarity was the most impressive thing I’ve seen with a HDTV antenna. My picture on my tv is so clear the I am canceling a few other subscription channels I purchased for my local news stations and shows that I am saving literally 280.00 dollars a month my last few months my cable company put hidden prices that they were charging me 291.00 a month for cable and boxes and networks I never even watched 90% of them channels and my kid is always streaming our on his PC . Wife only watched oxygen and nbc channels for there shows. Cable was a good thing back in my childhood days but now it’s a different world were cable doesn’t matter to kids and young adults and definitely not my old butt . Only internet connection all i need and a beautiful antenna and my smart tv and I am streaming feeling very young today and even younger tomorrow for the Super Bowl. I hooked up my bedroom, my son’s room and in the middle of getting my big tv in my man cave and running the antenna out my basement window and it’s snowing and it’s scanning more and more channels now that I have it plugged into my smart tv fire tv . I am so excited that I have no more cable bill that I am going to buy a pool table for my cave and another tv to hang behind my bar in my man cave. Hopefully if you read this review you’ll see that if you just take a chance and listen to the younger generation about how to operate the smart tv, and how to stream and if you are able to get a decent setup to stream your pockets and that old antique that’s been in your garage that you’ve been saying to yourself. Can’t wait to start saving money to build my dream car. Well guess what start streaming and your car will be on the road.. Happy Streaming $$$$$$

Excellent product. Got rid of expensive cable over a year ago. Tried this inexpensive antenna just to see if I wanted to go this route before purchasing a more expensive antenna. This one worked great. So, I purchase a second one for my smart tv. It works even better, picking up a large number of channels. Was told at a department store channel “2” is extremely difficult to get. I get it on both tv’s. I will be purchasing another antenna for my tv that is not a smart tv because some of the channels have started going in and out and I have to reset the antenna. I definitely believe that’s because it’s a much older tv.I definitely would recommend.

Amazing inexpensive antenna! We recently canceled our expensive cable tv service, but we still wanted local channels for news. After much research into tv antennas, roof mounting locations, attic mounting locations, etc., I eventually got frustrated and just ordered this inexpensive antenna, thinking if it didn't work we wouldn't be out much money. Connected the antenna to my Samsung smart tv and placed the antenna on an adjacent shelf, on an interior wall in the middle of our house, not even close to a window. Boom, about 12 channels with perfect clarity! More channels than I expected. We were so impressed we ordered a second antenna for another room, and it to works great too. I would highly recommend this antenna to anyone interested.

I am very impressed with the capabilities of this little antenna. It receives all of our local stations and the picture quality is very good. We got an over the air antenna because we lose our satellite signal whenever the weather gets really bad and we need to be able to watch our local weather to stay safe. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of a five star is because when there is very heavy rain between our house and the station we will lose the signal. So far I have been able to move the antenna and I can get the signal to come back in. But that is not the time to be messing with the antenna when a tornado is knocking on your door. I really wish I could find an indoor antenna that won't lose the signal in heavy rain. I also don't want to have to get in the attic to install a large antenna.

I dropped cable and tried this antenna. I have it on my LG smart TV in my basement family room. I get very good reception with it even in the basement. I get all the local stations and about 100 or more on the LG channels. There is a difference in the channels on the LG smart TV and the ROKU tvs I have on the main floor. On my ROKU tvs on the main lever I get all the local plus I don't know how many other channels, probably 150 or so. This is a great option to cable. I use this along with my internet streaming channels and get more channels than I can watch. On both tvs I get a great variety of music stations as well. Don't waste your money on high priced antennas.

I had an old flat panel antenna that I did not use much as my condo includes basic cable in it's monthly condo fee. I mainly had it for those times when cable went out. Recently we had an outage of several hours and when I went to my OTA antenna I found it would only receive three channels. I tried rescanning but it did not help so I figured the old antenna was about dead. Upon examination I noticed that the antenna was delaminating which proved it was was time for a replacement. While I wouldn't go so far as to say this antenna lives up to it's hype (do any of them, really?) I was still very impressed with this antenna as it picked up about 47 channels. quite an improvement over the old one, as, even when it was new the old antenna only received between 30 and 35 channels. There is one network channel the new antenna doesn't receive and I suppose I could try moving the antenna for better reception but I don't watch that network much so I don't consider it important enough to bother. Overall this small stand antenna outperforms my original larger flat panel by a substantial amount. I can strongly recommend this antenna.

After cutting the cord here in Cleveland, OH we had a difficult time receiving two of the national channels with a flat antenna we purchased. We were ready to give up but we thought we would give it another chance and purchased another antenna. We came across this amazing antenna on Amazon that was small in size but had wonderful reception and quality sound. A quality item that looks great and allows flexibility in placing the unit anywhere you want. We couldn't be happier.

I’m so glad I decided to buy this hd antenna for tv indoor 4k. It provides over 50 channels with excellent reception, and the picture quality is superb in HD. The installation was simple, and the antenna has been working flawlessly in my apartment, even with all the interference around. It’s been a great way to save money on cable while still enjoying all the major networks. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone.

We cut our tv fiber optic service. All we really watched was our local news channel. So glad we got this indoor antenna! Brings in all the local channels plus a lot more. Very pleased!

Well, this couldn’t have been any easier. Literally plug and play! Boxed securely, shipped promptly, instructions were clear and easy to follow. I went to my phone to google the transmitter locations of the local stations, used the cable hookup instead of the USB( no reason other than I went to the port I was familiar with…USB would have been really easy tho) I read my TV (Samsung) instructions on how to scan for channels on Live Tv and came up with 46 stations right off the bat. I didn’t pull up Channel 7( Tyler Tx) so I moved the antenna to a different location and came up with 68 stations. Of those 68, 57 were crystal clear the others were just a bit distorted. Not concerned about that at all since the stations I hope to pull in, came in clearly! The antenna can be set to short range and long range. It was on long range out of the box so I just left it there to see what it would do. The area I am in is East Texas Piney Woods and slightly rolling terrain. I am really satisfied with this little jewel. As a bonus for me, it’s so easy to hook up so-we will take it on our travels in the Motorhome. Completely satisfied with this purchase!

It’s work good to me in my area and easy to install

I ordered this since we downgraded somewhat on our cable use. We live in a metal building. I had a difficult time setting this up due to this reason. My son taped it to a window near the television and we ended up finding about 10 channels in addition to two local channels which was adequate for what we wanted. reception picture is clear . something to take into consideration is that this is a USB port application not a HDMI. Fortunately the television we wanted this for had USB ports and were able to use. The other television sets did not have USB ports.

It gets past time news not real time.

Not compatible with at least some Samsung sets. It looked promising but only one of the three TVs in different parts of our house picked up any stations at all, even though we have several within 30 miles. The one that did pick up stations got 7, but only one of those was one of the major locals. It turns out that my Samsung TVs have a "DTV Air" feature that it uses to find stations too. Those keep overriding the channel scan. Aside from that, little things that can also make a difference... the coax connector was difficult to turn because of the same-sized plastic covering at the end of the wire. On some coax cables they use a plastic piece to help you grip and turn the end. In this case, the plastic is stationary and leaves very little room to grip and turn the coax connector. My finger and/or thumb tended to be on both so there was a resistance to turning.

I just set up my new antenna a week ago. Our old one want picking up channels anymore. We live in a city setting so there’s lots of houses on our street and all close together. Installation was very easy. All I had to do was connect it to the tv and then fing a good place to put the receiver end for reception. The cord on it was long so it was easy to find a good spot for it and it has some weight to it so it’s not easily moved. Our lady one was very cheap and light. We are in an urban area so we ended up with lots of channels. I’m very happy with my purchase .

This TV antenna is a great choice for families with children. It not only provides clear and reliable signal reception for all your favorite TV channels, but it also helps reduce the amount of time kids spend on their phones or tablets. With access to local news, educational programs, and family-friendly entertainment, kids can enjoy screen time that’s more enriching and less focused on handheld devices. The antenna is easy to set up and works in different rooms, so parents can also enjoy catching up on the latest news while the kids watch their favorite cartoons or educational shows. It’s a great way to balance entertainment, stay informed, and encourage healthy screen habits for the whole family.

I bought this TV Antenna with equal parts wonder and dread. I liked the tone of the other reviewers, and I liked the idea of a rocket ship shaped antenna rather than a 10 x 12" sheet you paste in the window. I was unsure how tall the rocket ship antenna was, but it was only 7 inches high. The installation process was very easy for this Senior. Plug it in, scan for channels and see what you get. I am about 18 miles from the broadcasting towers. I live in a house with brick exterior and a tile roof. I was able to get good reception on the major channels, although I am still fiddling with the antenna to get PBS, which apparently uses a different tower. I also got reception to a number of Oldie TV show channels that I didn't know existed. The antenna got the channels I hoped for, and was set up without exasperating me. I was happy enough that I bought the same antenna for a second TV

I was skeptical, but this antenna really impressed me. Setup was super easy—just plugged it into the TV, placed it near a window, and scanned for channels. I’m getting 60+ channels in full HD (even some in 4K), and the picture is crystal clear. It’s small but sturdy, and the magnetic base makes it easy to position. Even during bad weather, the signal has stayed strong. Definitely worth it if you’re cutting the cord and want to stop paying for cable.
